15 Juillet 2009 - Trois Rivière Provincial raport de courses

Le week end dernier je suis allé m’amuser a Trois-Rivière pour un championnat provincial.  Je suis allé que pour le dimanche  puisqu’il y avait des orages et de la pluie forte samedi.

J’ai fait trois classes soit le vet master (dans laquelle j’ai tout remporté), le MX2 et MX1.  En MX2 j’ai fait des belles courses.  J’ai terminé 2ième a chacune des manches derrières Kevin Benoit.  Il ne manquait pas grand-chose pour la victoire a chacune des manches, seulement le bon pneu.  J’aurais eu besoin d’un paddle tire a sable mais je n’avais pas prévu c’est condition et j’en avais pas.

En MX1 au premier départ, après quelques coins Marc-Antoine Généreux est tombé devant moi.  J’étais alors déjà dans les aires je n’ai pas pu éviter sa moto et du fait même je suis tombé.  Malheureusement, j’ai arraché mon frein arrière et j’ai donc du faire la course sans frein, j’ai terminé au 4ième rang.  Deuxième manche j’ai un bon départ, je suis deuxième derrière Simon Homans.  J’ai gardé cette position jusqu’à la fin.  J’ai fini a une roue derrière Simon sur le saut d’arrivé.  Encore une fois un bon tire a sable m’aurait sans doute bien aidé.

Ce week end je vais faire un arénacross a Montmagny.  Cette course fait partie de la série Supercross Québec.

July 15th - Trois Rivière Provincial race report

Last week end I went to Trois-Riviere for a Provincial.  I went only on Sunday because there was a lot of rain and thunderstorm on Saturday.

I did 3 classes, the Vet Master (which I won all), MX2 and MX1.  En MX2 I did some great races.  I finished 2nd on both race behind Kevin Benoit.  There was not much missing for the victory, only a real sand paddle tire.  But I did not think we were going to have those conditions so I did not have any with me.

MX1, first race, after a few corner, Marc-Antoine Généreux felled in front of me.  I was already in the air so I couldn’t avoid is bike so did falled at my turn.  Unfortunattly I broke my rear brake, so I did the owl race without brake.  I manage to finished 4th.  Last race, I had a good start, second behind Simon Homans, I have stay there for the entire race and I finished a only a wheel of distance of Simon.  Once again, with the right tire would have helped me a lot.

Next week end, I’m racing a arenacross in Montmagny.  It’s a race from the Supercross Quebec Serie.
